Jodi Picoult

Last night three Ripon Belles went to see Jodi Picoult reading excerpts from her latest book "House Rules" and discussing her work. Jodi is a hugely popular writer and it's not difficult to see why Harrogate Theatre was nearly full to the gills with fans - Jodi came across as an extremely intelligent and socially aware lady - and had us laughing and clapping in delight at some of her insights and anecdotes.

The picture shows Lesley, Jill and Chris having their books signed personally by Jodi. Watch out for an article about Jodi in a copy of WI Life soon. All in all a highly enjoyable evening.
