Ripon Belles Circular Walk - 16th June 2010

On the evening of Wednesday 16^th June a group of Ripon Belles completed a circular walk from the Market Square, up to the Golf Course and back again.

 

We walked down North Street and then down a back lane just off Coltsgate Hill to Palace Road. From there we walked up Little Studley Road and walked along the public footpath to the Ripon Golf Course, which is part of the Sanctuary Walk. From there we crossed Palace Road again and followed another public footpath to Kirkby Road and then back to the city centre. Eleven Ripon Belles completed a 5 mile walk which contributes to the WI Triathlon. We ended a lovely summer’s evening at Squiffy’s Wine Bar on Duck Hill where we called in for refreshments afterwards.
